X-STEM Ambassadors are the backbone of the X-STEM School Program.  The X-STEM School program encourages STEM community outreach.  To become certified as an X-STEM School, the X-STEM Ambassador Team, composed of one coordinator and five delegates, creates a STEM plan for their school.

X-­STEM Delegates are students who are nominated by their school coordinator, or apply through the Volunteer Outreach Team.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Must be Certified by School Coordinator for X-­STEM Tickets)
Participate in X-STEM School planning meeting to create X-STEM Outreach plan
Work with team on STEM activities
Like Festival on Facebook (if over 13 w/account)
Follow Festival on Twitter (if over 13 w/account)
Share at least 5 Festival blog posts on Facebook, Twitter or other social media
Hang at least 6 Festival posters in school and community
Read at least 4 announcements in class and extracurricular meetings (text for announcements distributed monthly during school year)
Distribute promotional materials at minimum of one (1) school STEM event per semester

X-­STEM Fellow is an exceptional delegate who want to provide exceptional STEM service. Examples of X­‐STEM Fellow quality awards are below, but not limited to those listed. Contact your school coordinator for ideas.

Organize a STEM event at school
Organize transportation for school to attend Sneak Peek Friday or X­‐STEM Day
Create a Festival Commercial for School District 

X-­STEM Performer is designed for exceptional delegates who want to demonstrate a STEM activity through video, or in person at local STEM events. To be selected as an X-STEM Performer, activity must be submitted to Festival staff via Video on Youtube.

STEPS to be an X­‐STEM Performer:
Demonstrate a STEM activity and upload video of performance on Youtube
Submit Youtube link to Festival Staff for Approval
Approved X-­STEM Performers will be asked to perform at local STEM events
Work with X-­STEM School Coordinator to find X­‐STEM performance opportunities

X-­STEM Reporter is an exceptional delegate who uses social media to provide fun STEM content for the Festival.

Social Media Suggested Ideas:
Make a meme of a fun STEM activity and share with friends 
Write an article about the Festival and a local STEM activity for school or blog
Become a frequent tweeter and re‐tweeter
